Mariusz Boćkowski, MSc

I graduated in environmental protection (with a specialization in environmental biology) from the Faculty of Chemistry, Jagiellonian University. During preparation of my B.Sc. and M.Sc. thesis I was bound with Nature Protection, Wildlife Management and Environmental Education Research Team at the Institute of Environmental Sciences, Jagiellonian University.  After obtaining M.Sc. degree I worked for 3 years in non-governmental sector related to nature conservation in projects regarding: reintroduction and management of protected species, monitoring of valuable and endangered species, evaluation of forestry impact on forest ecosystems, planning field research with publishing its results and ecological education. Currently I am a participant of PhD Programme in Biology studies in English, where I am conducting research mainly on the use of the concept of ecosystem services in nature governance with a special reference to practice of nature conservation in polish Carpathians.
